Ink & Ember Botanical Curiosities was born from a lifelong fascination with the unseen connections that bring meaning, peace, and wonder into our lives.

I've always been drawn to the idea that there is more to the world than what we can see—a deeper connection between nature, energy, mindfulness, and personal growth. Like many people, I've spent years searching for ways to quiet a busy mind and find balance amidst the demands of everyday life.

In my professional life, I have the privilege of supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, helping them navigate challenges while celebrating their unique strengths and abilities. Through that work, I witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that patience, connection, and meaningful experiences can have on a person's well-being.

During my own journey, I found peace in unexpected places: nurturing plants, learning about crystals and chakras, practicing meditation, and spending time reconnecting with nature. What began as a single houseplant quickly grew into a collection of more than 100 unique plants and a passion that transformed the way I viewed wellness, mindfulness, and community.

But this journey was never mine alone.

My sister introduced me to the fascinating world of plants, science, and the beauty of connecting with the natural world around us. Her curiosity and passion sparked my own interest and helped cultivate a love for plants that continues to grow today. As our collections expanded, so did our appreciation for the peace, wonder, and personal growth that these hobbies brought into our lives.

The Curiosities & Collected Wonders side of Ink & Ember is deeply inspired by her own spiritual journey and pursuit of inner peace. Through tarot cards, crystals, plants, mindfulness, and self-discovery, she has created a collection centered around curiosity, reflection, and meaningful connection. Her passion helped shape an entire side of our business that celebrates the many ways people find balance, purpose, and inspiration.

What makes this journey especially meaningful is that through our shared love of plants, collecting, and learning, we found our way back to one another and built an even stronger bond as siblings. What started as a hobby became something much larger—a shared dream rooted in curiosity, creativity, and connection.

As our collections grew, so did our desire to share these experiences with others.
